Well, I just bought my daughter a car. A 2006 mini cooper convertible. It is beyond adorable. I am still wondering if I have a brain tumor!! My son agrees based on the fact that I made pancakes from scatch when he wasove4r here, and the fact that I bought that car. We'll be okay. Won't be going out to eat for a while, may be to eat lots of sandwiches, but my waiste like will probably thank me for it!!! It should be here tomorrow! I can't wait! It is a totally cool car. And it has a great safety rating~!! I'm so excitede!

Wow...that's generous of you. My kids would be lucky if I was able to afford a bike for them.

Oh, it is great! We drove around the other day with the top down and you cannot imagine all the honks and waves we got! I'm positive it is because of my radiant beauty of course! LOL

No, she doesn't have to help with the payments. But, that is because she is taking so many classes in school. She has three different math classes. A college algebra class, Pre AP Calculus, and another one that I forget, plus biology and some other classes and she is on the accounting team. I want her to just focus on keeping her grades up so hopefully she can good some good scholarships for college next year.

And her car does get really good mileage. I have yet to put gas in it as they filled it up at the dealership when we bought it and she still has plenty.

Well, I think our kids are lucky to have us. And before I come out looking like some awesome person, I have been getting child support and so I'm using that to pay for her car and insurance. She does understand though that my spending money now means I'm not saving as much for when I retire, and that she will be helping me then. And I have no doubt she will do it either. She really is a great kid.
