Finally!!!!Just got the call from my attorney, the judge will render her decision next Thurs, the 16th!!!!!!!!
Keep your fingers crossed that the wait was worth it!

I just found out the other day that the judge is not only going to render her decision but put her OPINION on record!!!!
That's what my atty had originally hoped for after we were able to prove the stupid lengths my stbx went to to dissipate and hide the marital assets!!!
This sooo cannot be good for my stbx!!
Has anyone ever had a judge "put their opinion on record" with a divorce matter before?!!!
This has been a crazy case!!!

Ok, had my day in court!!!
In the judge's own words, "Husband's credibility was a huge issue, his explanations as to how he spent the money that was recieved by him after refinancing the house was not credible, in fact it was in-credible!"
"Husband could not dissprove the allegations of dissipation and was totally deceitful in the manner of how he dissipated the marital assets, and gave no clear and honest accounting of how all the monies were spent"
"Husband willfully and maliciously dissipated the marital assets for the purpose of leaving little or no assets at time of judgement"
And she even read out loud an email he wrote to me back in 07 about how I wouldn't get anything and he would sell our house for $1.00!!!
She gave me his pension, he is recieving it now, and ordered him to change the beneficiary back to me, he had changed it to his g/f!!! (not even his own child)
And he has to pay her health insurance.
The child support will drop about $100 only because my income will increase due to receiving his pension!!!!
But she used his pension AND his military pay together.
And the judge will reserve jurisdiction of judgement of marital property of the house he bought in WV but titled in his g/f's name!!
And she ordered that I have Sole legal custody, Husband will never have visitation so long as the child is a minor, due to the fact that abuse was deemed indicated in this case and no contact was recommended by the specialists that were involved in the case.
Oh!! And he was ordered to pay my attys fees.....25K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then afterwards, my atty asked me to come back to work for her, she hadn't had any jobs for me lately, but now her case load has gotten huge!!
And she told me that if I get my license/certification to become a PI, she will pay half the costs for me to get bonded!!!
She's having me serve 8 people next week and take care of all the paperwork associated with that!!!
And my new guy is taking me camping this weekend, so I bought two bottles of wine to take!!! I'm going to majorly celebrate!!!

It's over!!! (just the paperwork and QDRO have to be written up and filed!)
After almost 4 yrs, it's done!!

Wow Soon! That is awesome! So glad the judge could see exactly what the ex has been doing!!! CONGRATS!!!!

I'm glad it's finally over! Now just to get the paperwork filed so it will be DONE!
This weekend was great! We actually went to a reenactment of the War thru the ages. We camped out 17th century style! But our neigbor had a propane powered shower!! And my guy fixed it for her so I got a shower!!
But it was great! Sooo much fun! He even had us dress like late 17 century sailors! Pics are on my facebook if you want to see!!
It was just so much fun, and Sunday morning, cus it was my bday, when I woke up, he sang me happy bday!! LOL! He even has a good voice!
And he got me a book about Pirates because I had told him I'd always been interested in that part of history.
Plus he's a history buff so when we were walking around the grounds, and checking out the other camps, he was able to tell me about the different time periods and weapons and tools they had and he wasn't afraid to go up and ask.
He's also part of a group called Ships Co. that does reenactments on this huge sail ship here in Balt. Called the Constellation!
It was just a relaxing fun weekend! Great way to start the spring and the best bday I've EVER had!
With the pension I'm getting from my ex, I'll be investing part of it and the other part will be paying for me to go back to school. I want to get at least an AA degree in Criminal justice, fitting huh? LOL!
But "when I grow up" I want to try and have my own PI company!!!
