I submitted the Domestic Relations Order to the pension office...
I was awarded 52.7% of his pension which he has been collecting monthly now since 2006.
And it was rejected...why? Because of stupid typos!!!!!!!!!
And my atty had wrote in that the judge ordered for me to get 52.7% but then put in a dollar amount!!
You can't do that!! By putting in the actual dollar amount, it locks me in to that!!
By putting in the % or the marital share fraction, I will get all the cost of living allowances and raises etc.
So, I had to retype it, send it to the pension office to review it, wait for them to send it back to me so I can resubmit it to the courts for their signature and send it back to me so I can send it back to the pension office in which once they approve it, my ex has 30 days from that date to oppose it!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is a light at the end of the tunnel but it seems to be getting smaller!!!!!!!!!!!
It's been 4 yrs now, sheesh!!!!!!!!

You are just finishing up, dotting all your i's and crossing all your t's. You will get this all wrapped up in no time, and then you'll never have to go through all this again! Just think how great that will feel!!
